What I imagine is a group of history teachers who will, on a monthly basis, tackle a question or theme. After this month, we can create a method for submitting and choosing topics to write about. As we read each other’s posts, we can further discuss and elaborate so that we can support and learn from each other. I will post your response, or a link to your response, on my blog. What are some of your classroom/teaching goals for 2014?

1. I am looking to get better at structuring my units and lessons around big questions. My Western Civ class starts over at the end of the month, and I have made a ton of progress finding and formatting source sets for much of the course.
2. As my AP Government class comes to a close for this academic year, I am transitioning to a general Economics class. I'd like to establish a regularly occurring #econchat, a la #hsgovchat. Unfortunately, the other two #hsgovchat co founders do not also teach Econ.
3. I am looking to blog consistently for the remainder of 2014.
